Volume I is a mine of information, Volume II, in respect of only four binders buckram boards interesting: 309 to 312 on which are eight blankets. Some plates on the bindings romantic embossed paper.

Although there are no illustrations or photographs, these catalogs are some very descriptive references give some idea of the fantastic collection of Paul Gavault, the largest collector of Romantic and twentieth of Cardboard century. Given the number of books sold in lots, the collection exceeded fifteen thousand volumes. Total sales reached 13,420,220 francs, at a time when the minimum wage should be around 350 francs per month.
